Cheyenne Van Leeuwen was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, after her father was stationed in Fort Bragg. She completed her undergraduate degree at UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in both English and Political Science. After graduating in 2015, she attended law school at North Carolina Central University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate in 2018. While in Law School, Cheyenne participated in Trial Advocacy and was a 3rd Year Practice Attorney in the Family Law Clinic under the direction of Attorney Nakia Davis, Esq.
Upon passing the North Carolina Bar in 2018, she entered into the world of private practice. Cheyenne has worked in Criminal, Family, and Real Estate law, but her passion is Litigating Family Law cases, which brings her to Piedmont Eastern Litigation. Cheyenne is an advocate of fair justice and desires to change the Family Law world with her passion and tenacity.
Cheyenne lives in Durham, NC with her dog, Romeo, who’s 15 and still going strong. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her friends and family, experiment with new cooking recipes, and take Romeo on nice walks, despite his age.
