William J. Collins is a North Carolina native. William graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of law, where he also finished top 20% in his graduating class.
During his three years of law school, William interned in the contracts department at Duke Clinical Research Institute. It was during this time William developed his tactical drafting skills while negotiating a variety of complex agreement types. The unique challenges encountered by a corporate legal department in an academic setting has helped propel William's ability to be an effective advocate for his clients. William has fought tirelessly against big corporations before and is now prepared to do the same for you. He will use his knowledge of the law and his professional relationships to navigate through some of the most difficult cases and help clients through difficult periods in their lives.
Before law school, William graduated with honors from UNC-Wilmington, where he was a member of the men's rugby team. He was also a member of Brevard College men's basketball team during his first two years in college. William credits his competitive nature and drive to be successful to his extensive athletic background.
William is the son of a preacher and a teacher. William states his upbringing is what inspired him to be an attorney, so that he could help out those in need of legal services.
